Language training

We provide extra language training for children as well as for adults whose language ability needs improvement.

• ESL - English as Second Language for full-time ISSR pupils to speed up language comprehension (especially reading & writing skills) in order to be able to enroll in a class appropriate with their age group.
• EAL - English as Additional Language for non-ISSR pupils for their language ability, mainly Khmer children who attend a state-school, as part-time class after school at ISSR.
• Khmer - for full-time ISSR Khmer pupils to accommodate the Khmer National Curriculum, according to the Government Guidelines from the Ministry of Education Youth and Sport, as an after school additional class.
• French - offered to all pupils as an extra class, after school at ISSR.
• German - we offer German language training to local adults, for those whose spouse is of German nationality, and who intend to take up German residency.

Further classes will be opened when requested and when sufficient numbers of students have shown interest in joining a new course.
